If you prefer full parametric control, the included .scad script lets you customize:

• Text & Typography:
• Front primary name & optional subtitle/surname.
• Student-facing engraved message on the back (class, grade, or quote).
• Independent fonts, styles, and sizes for each text field.
• Dimensions: Automatic sizing to fit your text perfectly, or set a custom fixed length, height, and slant angle.
• Built-in Ruler: Toggle on/off; switch between Metric (cm/mm) and Imperial (inches).
• Keychain / Bag Hole: Toggle on/off and position on the left or right side.
• Multi-Color / ACE Export Modes: Export the complete model or split into separate STL files (Body, Primary Inlay, Subtitle) for seamless color assignment in any slicer.

🖨️ Print Orientation & Tips

• Print Face-Down: Place the slanted front face completely flat on the print bed.
• Benefits: This drastically reduces print time, requires no supports on the lettering, and gives a smooth, flawless surface finish to your text.

What's New in V3 (09/13/26) — Filament Saving & 3D Relief

• Adjustable Text Thickness: Dial down text depth to 0.2 mm or 0.4 mm (1–2 layers) to drastically reduce multi-color purge waste.
• Embossed vs. Inlay: Switch between flush lettering and raised relief text.
• Non-AMS Glue-In Mode: Export letters flat to print them separately and glue them in.

What's New in V2 (09/09/26) — Under-Shelf & Inverted Mounting

• 180° Text Inversion: You can now flip your text horizontally and vertically with two simple checkboxes. Enable both to mount the nameplate upside down under a shelf, desk, or monitor riser while keeping all lettering upright and fully readable.
