KEY FEATURES:
- Lateral PEI Bed Scratch Protection
- Designed specifically to guard the side of the screen frame. If the PEI build plate accidentally shifts or turns during removal, this frame takes the hit, preventing scratches on the original display casing.
- Magnetic Dust & Impact Lid
- Includes a quick-release magnetic cover panel that snaps easily into place. Perfect for keeping the screen clean from dust or accidental bumps while the printer is idle.
- Authentic Kobra Styling & PEI Texture Finish
- Features an engraved Cobra emblem matching the printer branding. Printed face-down on a textured PEI plate, it perfectly mirrors the look and feel of your bed surface.
HARDWARE REQUIRED (Bill of Materials):
To assemble the magnetic lid, you will need:
- 4x Neodymium Disc Magnets (3mm x 1mm, N52 Grade recommended for maximum hold)
- 2 magnets inserted into the Screen Frame
- 2 magnets inserted into the Cover Lid
Assembly Tip: Double-check magnet polarity before gluing them into place! Make sure opposite poles face each other so the cover attracts and snaps firmly shut.
RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS:
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS
- Layer Height: 0.20 mm (or 0.16 mm for finer logo detail)
- Infill: 10% - 15% (Grid or Gyroid)
- Supports: Not required
- Brim: Set Brim to None to preserve the PEI surface texture right up to the edges.
- Orientation: Print the Cover Lid flat on the textured PEI plate face-down for the best cosmetic finish!
