Recommended printing method
Description

This radially symmetric articulated hexapod is poseable, prints in place, and has absolutely no assembly required.

Note: Before printing you may want to test your printer's tolerance for print in place hinges. To do that, you can use my Print in Place Tolerance Test model. By default, these hinges have 0.1mm of tolerance between separate parts, which works well for my printer with a 0.4 nozzle and 0.2mm layer heights, printing in PLA.

For this model, you want the hinges to move easily but stay in place once positioned. Too loose and the p will not be poseable, too tight and you won't be able to move the hinges without breaking them. To adjust hinge tightness, you can use the XY Size Compensation setting in your slicer.

You can print this in PLA or PETG, but the joints will wear out more quickly if you use PLA.
