A practical two-part bread slicing guide for more even, approximately 14.5 mm slices. The guide is designed for loaves up to about 200 mm long. Its separate sliding end stop supports the loaf as it gets shorter.
Print the main guide and the end stop on their separate plates. Remove the supports, clear the guide slots and slide the end stop into the base channel. Place the bread inside, position the stop behind it and guide a bread knife through the matching slots. No screws or glue are required.
The included Anycubic Slicer Next project is prepared for an Anycubic Kobra X with a 0.4 mm nozzle: PLA, 0.24 mm layers, 4 walls, 15% grid infill and automatic tree supports. Both plates were successfully sliced. The combined estimate is about 9 h 41 min and 377 g including supports; actual results depend on filament and printer setup.
An additional ELEGOO Slicer project is included under Model Files. Hand wash the printed parts, keep them away from high heat and avoid cutting into the plastic guide.
