Recommended printing method
Description

A reusable garden slug trap with a removable rain cover and a decorative snail motif. The lower cup holds bait, while openings below the wide lid let slugs enter. The two printed parts separate for refilling and cleaning.

How to use

Add approximately 1–2 cm of bait to the cup, such as beer or a yeast-and-sugar mixture. Fit the lid and partially bury the cup, keeping the lower edge of the entrance openings about 5–10 mm above the soil. Keep the openings clear. Check every 2–3 days, empty, rinse and refill as needed.

Printing and assembly

The included ELEGOO Slicer 3MF is set up for a Centauri Carbon 2 with a 0.4 mm nozzle and PETG. Settings: 0.20 mm layers, 2 walls, 15% rectilinear infill, automatic normal supports and automatic brim. Keep the supplied plate layout and orientation, slice and inspect the preview before printing. After cooling, remove supports and brim, check the fit and attach the lid. No screws or glue are needed.
