The Weeping Drop of Hollowthorn

Description

They say that during the longest storms, not every drop of rain belongs to the sky.

Some fall from places far older and darker — from ruined towers where no bells have rung for centuries, from forgotten cathedral roofs buried beneath ivy, and from clouds that gather only above places touched by sorrow. Among those drops, one was said to have never reached the ground.

Instead, it remained suspended in the darkness.

Over time, the single drop grew larger, taking on the shape of an ornate gothic vessel. Thorn-like curves formed around its edges, cathedral arches appeared within its surface, and deep inside the water something slowly began to smile.

It became known as The Weeping Drop of Hollowthorn.

Legend claims the drop was born from the final tear of a creature imprisoned beneath an ancient flooded sanctuary. The tear carried a fragment of its spirit, and wherever it appeared, rain would soon follow. Some believed it brought protection to those who respected the old places. Others believed every storm was simply another attempt by the creature inside to return to the world.

This gothic wall decoration combines the unmistakable silhouette of a water droplet with elaborate dark-fantasy ornamentation. Sweeping filigree, sharp architectural forms and cathedral-inspired details surround the sinister face hidden at its center, making the design feel as though the water itself has been transformed into living gothic architecture.

From a distance, it appears almost elegant — a beautifully decorated drop frozen in time. But the closer you look, the more clearly the creature within begins to emerge from between the curling patterns.

Perfect as a dramatic piece of gothic and dark-fantasy wall art, The Weeping Drop of Hollowthorn carries the atmosphere of an endless storm, a forgotten cathedral, and something ancient watching silently from beneath the surface.

Because sometimes the darkest things do not rise from the shadows.

Sometimes they fall with the rain.
