I couldn't find any adequate options to extend the stand of my Razer Seiren Mini microphone, so I made one! Yoohoo!
This stand is modular and has three different lengths and print profiles:
1) 40 mm
2) 30 mm
3) 10 mm***
Each extension has two threads: 5/8"-27.
All these extensions are good for stacking and screw into the mic and stand with the default extension.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1) Each extension should be printed one at a time or one per table.
2) Print them only in a standing position!
3) These threads are very fine, so the print files are set to extra fine print. If you modify them, keep this in mind.
4) I used a P1S Printer, and with the following settings, threads could get stuck or may not enter when stacking, but no worries!
- If it doesn't enter, make sure that extensions are well-aligned and try to push them together when screwing.
- If it gets stuck, unscrew it and screw it back, repeating this 3-4 times. These problems occur only during the first 5 screwing cycles; after that, it becomes buttery smooth!
5) You may need to use sandpaper or other tools to remove additional support material.
***The 10 mm part is brittle and harder to align because of its size. I recommend considering the other sizes.
