🛠️ Assembly & How It Works

We’ve designed this model to be super satisfying to assemble:

• Modular & Threaded Design: The main sections feature built-in printed threads, so you can smoothly screw the parts together—no glue needed for the main body!
• Smart Hinge Mechanism: To attach the lid to the upper chamber, simply slide a tiny piece of raw 3D printing filament (1.75 mm) through the hinge holes to act as the pivot pin. Snip the ends, and you’re good to go!

🎨 Recommended Filament Colors

For that authentic Moka aesthetic, we recommend multi-color printing or assembling from separate spools:

• Body (Boiler & Upper Chamber): Silver or Light Grey PLA/PETG (for that classic metallic look).
• Handle & Top Knob: Matte Black.
• Safety Valve: Gold or Brass.

🖨️ Print Settings & Tips

• Supports: Needed! You’ll want to enable supports for overhangs like the spout, handle attachment points, and internal cavities.
• Layer Height: 0.16 mm – 0.20 mm works great for smooth threads and clean details.
• Infill: 15–20% gyroid or grid infill is plenty strong.
