Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes symbolize reunion and harmony, yet traditional festival decorations are often temporary and discarded after the holiday. Adopting FDM multi-color 3D printing technology, this work consists of an embossed carved upper cover, a round box base, and four cultural creative mooncake ornaments. The interior of the box is designed with four positioning slots, with each mooncake engraved with the Chinese characters meaning “reunion”.

The outer shell replicates traditional mooncake embossed patterns, transforming disposable festival packaging into a durable desktop storage ornament. The mooncake ornaments can be neatly displayed inside the box or taken out separately as decorative desk pieces and keepsakes. This design freezes the festive meaning of reunion beyond seasonal limits, turning traditional festival emotions into touchable and reusable cultural creations for daily use.
