💧 How to Fill & Dosage

The FrostGrip Chiller can be used with two different cooling options:

1. Plain Water:

The fastest and easiest option, requiring no special preparation.

2. DIY Cooling Gel – Recommended for maximum performance! ❄️

Creates an ice-pack style thermal gel that holds the cold much longer. Thanks to its thicker consistency, it also helps minimize the risk of leaks.

🧪 Recipe for approximately 300 ml of water

• 💧 300 ml of lukewarm water
• 🧂 1 generous teaspoon of salt (helps lower the freezing temperature)
• 🥣 1/2 generous teaspoon of guar gum (acts as a thickener to create the gel texture)

🔄 Instructions

First, stir the salt into the water until it is completely dissolved. Then slowly add the guar gum while mixing vigorously to prevent lumps from forming.

Continue mixing until the liquid becomes a smooth and uniform gel.

⚠️ WARNING: Golden Rule for the Freezer!

DO NOT FILL TO THE BRIM!

Fill the cooling chamber to approximately 85%–90% of its capacity and always leave 10%–15% empty space (air gap) at the top before closing the cap.

As liquids freeze, they expand in volume. If the chamber is filled to 100%, the pressure created by the expanding frozen liquid can damage or crack the 3D print.

Leaving an air gap gives the gel enough room to expand safely.

This update provides a more secure grip and improved resistance in the connection area between the handle and the main body of the FrostGrip Chiller.
