Duck FreshDiscs Replacement Handle

A broken handle doesn’t have to mean throwing away the whole applicator. I designed this replacement for my Duck FreshDiscs after the original part broke, taking the opportunity to improve how it uses the gel inside the tube.

Use the gel right down to the end. The dimensions allow the cartridge to be pressed through its full travel, squeezing out the remaining product instead of leaving a small amount behind, as the original handle did.

The inspection holes are deliberately positioned to work with the applicator’s movement. Their layout and the overall geometry have also been optimized for fast FDM printing without supports, keeping printing and cleanup simple.

Print the replacement, fit it to your existing cartridge, and keep using your applicator with less wasted gel.
