Ember Hell Flame Scale Dragon Breath Lamp on Boot — Monitor Buddy

Wrapped in restless, destructive dragonfire, the Ember Hell Flame Scale Dragon tears through the silent void and sweeps in with overwhelming force.

The moment your PC boots up and the screen lights up, the Ember Hell Flame Scale Dragon's breath erupts at the same instant — raging fire bursts from its jaws and slams hard into the top of your monitor, with scorching dragonfire pouring down the edges of the screen. Every single startup, you get that "there's a dragon attacking your desk" feeling.

There are three sizes: 10 / 20 / 28cm. I'd say go straight for the 20 cm one — eight hours in a single colour, or 26 in three colours, and that's all it takes to unlock the moment the flame ignites right along with your computer. Want maximum impact? Jump straight to the 28 cm; a few extra hours, and once it lights up you'll know they were worth it.

Supports are already set up, in both single-colour and multi-colour versions, with same-material or different-material supports to choose from — it's ready to print as-is. I've optimised them as much as I could; almost all contact surfaces are sloped angles, and both PLA and PETG release cleanly in my testing. The model is tall, so give the build plate a good clean or put some glue down before you start — you really don't want this thing tipping over halfway.

It mounts on the top-right corner of the monitor by default. Want it on the top-left? Just mirror the model — and remember to mirror the flame part along with it, or the two won't line up.

The lighting setup is dead simple — all you need is a 5V USB COB LED strip (1 mm, the thin wire kind), and it doesn't cost much. In China, just search "5V 1mm 360° COB LED strip" on Pinduoduo, about ¥10. Overseas, search "5V 1mm COB strip"on Amazon, AliExpress， seeedstudio, or eBay. I've left the search picture at the end of this page. Thread it into the flame, add a dab of glue to hold it in place, and plug the USB into the back of your monitor or straight into your PC — either one works, and the flames come back to life every time you boot up. No LED strip on hand? Print it anyway — it stands on its own as a display piece. The light is what brings it to life, but you can always add it later.

For the dragon flame filament, you can search 5V 1 .5 mm 360° COB USB LED strip from Etsy、Amazon etc. For a 20cm medium dragon, buy a 20cm strip; for a giant dragon, buy 26-30cm. Prices are similar, and you can trim any excess. For a 10cm mini version, the filament won't fit inside.

尺寸分了 10 / 20 / 28cm，建议直接从 20cm 起步——单色只需 8 个小时、三色只需26小时，就能解锁开机龙焰同步点燃那一刻的惊艳。想要极致震撼直接就上 28cm，多花的一点时间在装好龙焰燃起的瞬间会让你觉得都是值得的。

模型已经设置好支撑，有单色 / 多色、同料异料支撑可以选择，可直接一键打印。支撑已经尽可能优化过，绝大部分都是斜面，实测 PLA 和 PETG 都能完整拆除。因为模型较高，所以打印前一定要清洗板子或涂胶，避免倾倒。

默认安装在显示器右上角，需要安装在左上角的话，把模型镜像一下即可，记得把龙焰一并镜像了，不然无法对位装配。

灯直接拼多多搜 5V 1mm 360度 COB 灯带，10 块左右，购买图放在最后了。灯穿进去之后点上一点胶固定，USB 口插显示器背后、或者插主机上都行，就能开机感受龙焰燃起。手头没有灯带也照样能打——它本身就是一件完整的摆件，灯是让它活起来的那一笔，什么时候想加都行。
