Moonroot Sanctuary

The Hidden Door of Circlewood

When night settles over Circlewood, the oldest roots begin to climb toward the sky.

They curl around a crescent moon, weaving golden arches between its craters and sheltering a tiny door beneath the pale forest mushrooms. No path leads to this entrance, and no map remembers it. It appears only to those who have wandered too far beneath the stars—or to those who have finally found the courage to search for somewhere they truly belong.

Behind the little door lies Moonroot Sanctuary, a hidden refuge where weary fairies rest their wings and forgotten dreams are carefully mended. The mushrooms glow softly whenever a traveller approaches, while the ancient vines open just enough to let one small soul pass through.

By morning, the doorway disappears again among the leaves and roots. Yet those who once found it will always carry a fragment of its moonlight within them—a quiet reminder that even during the darkest night, somewhere in the forest, a door may still be waiting to open.
