For outdoor use, UV- and weather-resistant materials such as ASA or PETG are recommended. PLA may become brittle over time when exposed to sunlight and temperature fluctuations.
Assembly
- Print the desired clip size (4 mm² or 6 mm²).
- Route the solar cables into the clip channels.
- Snap the clip onto the mounting edge, frame, or designated structure.
- Verify that all cables are securely retained and not under tension.
No additional hardware or tools are required.
Just to be on the safe side, you could use a cable tie to make sure everything is extra secure.
