SkullTree – Haunted Halloween Tree

A tree with a terrifying secret…

Deep in the haunted forest stands SkullTree, an ancient, twisted tree with a sinister face hidden in its trunk. Its hollow eyes, skeletal nose, sharp teeth, and claw-like branches give it a truly haunting appearance.

With its intricate bark texture, twisted roots, and small pumpkins scattered around the base, SkullTree makes a striking Halloween decoration for your desk, shelf, or spooky display.

About the printed version shown in the photos

The model shown in the photos was printed in a single color using black PLA. After printing, I applied Inka Gold to the raised surfaces, highlighting the intricate bark texture and creating an aged, antique-gold finish.

No multicolor printing is needed to achieve this look!

SkullTree.3mf – Single Color

Print the entire model in your favorite filament and optionally add your own finishing touches.

For the version shown in the photos, I printed SkullTree at 100% scale in black PLA and applied Inka Gold to the raised surfaces. This highlights the intricate bark texture and creates an aged, antique-gold finish.

You can also experiment with wood-colored filament, stone effects, or other creative finishes.

Optional LED Lighting

SkullTree features a hollow trunk, allowing you to add lighting for an even spookier effect!

My version was printed at 100% scale. For an illuminated version, scale up the model until the opening at the bottom of the trunk is large enough to accommodate your LED tealight.

Place the LED tealight underneath the tree, centered directly below the hollow trunk, with the light facing upward.

This allows the light to illuminate the inside of the trunk and shine through the skull's hollow eyes and mouth, creating an eerie glow.

Check the dimensions of your LED tealight and the opening before printing.

Important: Use battery-powered LED lighting only. Never use real candles or open flames.
