Wave Bonsai Pot with Magnetic Drip Tray - Modern Minimalist Planter

A modern, minimalist bonsai pot with a matching magnetic drip tray. A soft wave pattern runs all around both pieces and lines up perfectly when the pot sits on the tray.

FEATURES

• Pot 200 x 140 x 70 mm (205 x 145 mm at the wave crests), walls at least 10 mm thick
• 15 drainage holes (6 mm) that drain into the tray
• Drip tray 21 mm tall with a 3 mm locating lip that keys into a groove under the pot: the pot can't slide off
• 8 neodymium magnets 8 x 3 mm hold pot and tray together (pockets 8.15 x 3.15 mm, tolerance already included)
• Every edge is rounded: nothing sharp, safe around kids
• Prints without supports

PRINT SETTINGS

0.20 mm layers, 4 walls, 4 top / 4 bottom layers, 15% gyroid infill, no supports, textured PEI plate. PETG is recommended because the pot lives with water.

PRINT PROFILES (Anycubic Kobra S1 Max, Anycubic PETG)

• Pot + tray on one plate, all black: 15 h 44 min, 483 g
• Pot + tray on one plate, white pot + black tray (ACE Pro): 19 h 35 min, 483 g (about 105 colour changes: two plates is faster)
• Two plates, white or black pot: pot 11 h 23 min / 345 g, tray 4 h 08 min / 133 g

ASSEMBLY

1. Glue the magnets into the pockets (CA glue or epoxy). Check the polarity first so the pot attracts the tray.
2. Cover each magnet with a drop of glue or varnish so water can't rust it.
3. The lip keeps water inside the tray. For a fully watertight tray brush the inside with epoxy / UV resin.

• CA glue or epoxy
• Clear varnish, epoxy or UV resin to seal the magnets (optional)
• Filament: Anycubic PETG, about 483 g (all black, or white pot + black tray)
